Simply choose your cleaning package, complete your booking online, and send your trainers to us using the provided postage instructions. Once cleaned, we'll return them directly to your chosen address.
Do I need to provide my own postage?
No. Return postage is included within our service pricing. Details on how to send your trainers to us will be provided after booking.
How should I package my trainers?
Any sturdy box or parcel bag is suitable. Please ensure your trainers are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Can I send multiple pairs in one parcel?
Yes. Multiple pairs can be sent together, although each pair will need its own cleaning service booked.
Do you only serve customers in Nottingham?
No. STEPS operates across the UK through our convenient post-and-return service.
Cleaning & Restoration
What types of trainers do you clean?
We clean most trainers and sneakers, including leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, mesh, and knit materials.
Do you clean designer or limited-edition trainers?
Yes. We understand the importance of premium and collectible footwear and treat every pair with the highest level of care.
Can you remove every stain?
While we achieve excellent results in most cases, some stains, discolouration, ageing, and material damage may be permanent. We will always aim for the best possible outcome.
What's the difference between cleaning and restoration?
Cleaning focuses on removing dirt, marks, and odours, while restoration may involve more advanced work to improve the appearance of ageing or heavily worn footwear.
Will my trainers look brand new again?
Results vary depending on the condition, age, and material of the footwear. Our goal is always to achieve the best possible restoration while preserving the integrity of the shoe.
Do you clean white soles and midsoles?
Yes. Sole and midsole cleaning is included in our cleaning process.
Turnaround Times
How long does the process take?
Turnaround times vary depending on the service selected, but most orders are completed and dispatched within 1–10 working days of receipt.
Will I be updated on my order?
Yes. We'll keep you informed when your trainers arrive, when work begins, and when they are on their way back to you.
Can I request an urgent clean?
Please contact us before booking and we'll do our best to accommodate urgent requests.

Payment is taken securely during the online booking process.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
Please contact us as soon as possible. If work has not yet started, we may be able to cancel or amend your booking.
What happens if my parcel is lost in transit?
